Creative Brief: Design and code a showcase/client-nabbing website for a consortium of social entrepreneurs. We started with the iconic image of a guy in a crowd holding up a Flip-Cam and went from there.
The sites needs to show off not only the work that the consortium does/can do, but also the people within the organization.
“Wow” Factor: The slider on the People page. Uses jQuery and draws from dynamic posts (as opposed to being hard-coded into the template.)

My name is Carter, and I build websites.
While I absolutely love everything about design, photography, marketing, video production; really anything that can communicate ideas to lots and lots of people - I knew that I had to choose one particular thing to focus on when I started Out to Lunch.
Building websites is really the most exciting thing I could think of. It's just so challenging; there are so many things that can go wrong. I know it seems strange, but when you love doing something, you want an excuse to do it as much as possible.
In every office at which I've had the pleasure of working, one thing has remained consistently true: I do my best work when nobody is distracting me.
The time of day when the office is most likely to be empty? Lunch time.
