Creative Brief: A good friend of my recently became single again, and I was trying to think of ways to cheer him up. So, I created a fictional organization and a website with a backstory, as well as a list of “Pimps in Good Standing.” The latin “Conciliatura Perpetuo” roughly translates, as best I can tell, into “Pimping Throughout The Ages.”

I set the logo in my new favorite typeface; Gotham. The “of” is Edwardian Script, giving it just a dash of elegance.

Again, the jQuery slider makes an appearance. I didn’t want to have to come up with a great deal of content, so a slider fit perfectly.

What’s in store: I’m thinking about expanding this from an inside joke into a more robust site, possibly some kind of op-ed zine that recognizes excellence in pimping. I don’t know yet.

Where credit is due: I first heard the phrase in a post by Tycho at Penny-Arcade. This should surprise absolutely no one.
