About Out to Lunch Productions

My name is Carter, and I build websites.

I have a degree in Mass Communications with a concentration in Digital Media. I started Out to Lunch in March of 2008, and I haven’t regretted it once.

Why websites?

While I absolutely love everything about design, photography, marketing, video production – really anything that can communicate ideas to lots and lots of people -I knew that I had to choose one particular thing to focus on.

Building websites is really the most exciting thing I could think of. It’s just so challenging; there are so many things that can go wrong. I know it seems strange, but when you love doing something, you want an excuse to do it as much as possible.

What’s with the name?

In every office at which I’ve had the pleasure of working, one thing has remained consistently true: I do my best work when nobody is distracting me.

The time of day when the office is most likely to be empty? Lunch time.

Also, it’s funny.
