Back in 1993, a few Forbes College kids got together and created a new group known as 'Inn Tune'. They started out singing "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" in the dining hall, but gradually expanded, gaining new members and relocating performances to 1879 Arch. In 1994 the group picked a new name and mascot – the classic Disney (or is it Rudyard Kipling?) character Shere Khan, the fierce tiger from The Jungle Book. Since then we've become one of the most sought-after groups on campus, performing at events and packing arch sings with our amazing fans. We arrange our own music and have released five studio albums, but we still find time for Caribbean tours, annual excursions to the Jersey Shore, and celebrations of all sorts everywhere from Prospect Street to Goodfriends Chinese Restaurant. The spirit of SK will always be about great friends singing our favorite songs. Shere Khan A Capella B62 Bloomberg Hall 908-418-8371 person@princeton.edu |
